Facebook Portraits

A series of oil paintings inspired by individuals' postings on their Facebook profiles. These portraits are created from a selection of pictures found on each subject's Facebook page and then reproduced with slight alterations in composition by the artist. Each selected subject is someone working directly or indirectly with the art world as an artist, a curator, a gallery owner, a critic, a collector or affiliate of an arts organization or museum.

The subjects are unaware that they have been selected by the artist for this portraiture.
